Katie was raised in Mandeville, LA. She became a registered nurse in 2009 and has 6 years of experience working in Pediatric surgery and the Pediatric ER at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2012 and her Master of Science in nursing (MSN) in 2015 from Southeastern Louisiana University. Katie is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C), Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN), Certified Asthma Educator (AE-C), and Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC). Katie worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital before joining the Pediatric Clinic – St. Francisville in the spring of 2016.
