West Feliciana Hospital is proud to announce the hiring of its newest Pediatric Specialist, Courtney James, MD, FAAP. Dr. James graduated Cum Laude from Dillard University with a Bachelor of Science Degree and received her Medical Degree from Ross University School of Medicine Commonwealth of Dominica. She completed her Pediatric internship and residency at Our Lady of the Lake where she went on to serve as Chief Resident. Our new pediatric Specialist, Dr. James has worked as a General Pediatrician for Our Lady of the Lake Physician Group and most recently South Central Primary Care Center.

Dr. James is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has served in a variety of volunteer capacities such as Prevent Child Abuse, Health Centers in Schools, Kigezi Healthcare Foundation, and more.

Dr. James will be joining Dr. Patricia M. Schneider, MD, FAAP Kelli David, APRN, CPNP, AE-C, PMHS and Katie Jewell, APRN, FNP-C, CPN, AE-C, CLC, PMHS in the Pediatric Clinic, St. Francisville, a West Feliciana Hospital Organization.
