West Feliciana Hospital recognizes the importance of education and early prevention of breast cancer. Paint the Town Pink is a fantastic way for our whole community to come together for Breast Cancer support and education each year.

Join West Feliciana Hospital’s annual breast cancer awareness campaign to raise money for Cancer Services of Baton Rouge, a nonprofit organization serving the emotional, financial, and physical needs of those affected by cancer. Cancer Services of Baton Rouge serves a 10-parish area that includes West and East Feliciana and Pointe Coupee.

Businesses and individuals are asked to decorate their homes or offices in pink, along with entering our competition for “Most Creative” and “Best Pink Decorations”. This is a great way to show community unity and support for this special cause.

There are many ways you can participate through the month of October. West Feliciana Hospital will be selling T-shirts and yard signs, along with hosting our traditional Paint Party, with all proceeds going to Cancer Services of Baton Rouge. Listed below is the schedule of events and ways you can participate.

Thursday, September 10th–Paint the Town Pink T-shirts are available for pre-order. Please see attached order form. Deadline for orders is September 10, 2026. To have order forms & payments picked up, contact Misty Metz at 225-635-3811, ext. 2304.

Friday, October 2nd– Pink Bake Sale – This is one of our most popular events! We will be at Audubon Market from 11am until we are sold out, selling lots of delicious baked treats. We will also have breast cancer awareness information for the public, so be sure to stop by. If you or your business would like to donate baked goods for the sale, please reach out to us.

Wednesday, October 7th – West Feliciana Hospital will host its annual Paint Party at 6pm.

Friday, October 16th – Businesses and individuals are asked to decorate and enter our competition to be judged. (Please see attached form).

Friday, October 16th – Schools and Community members are encouraged to wear PINK as we Paint the Town Pink!

Thursday, October 22nd – Come find us at The Witches Ride – St. Francisville. We will be set up as a water station and will also be handing out awareness information.

As always don’t forget to schedule your mammogram! West Feliciana Hospital, in partnership with Woman’s Hospital of Baton Rouge, provides screening mammograms in our community. Call 225-635-2443 to make your appointment.
