Michelle is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner specializing in endocrinology. Her journey in healthcare began with an Associate of Science in Nursing in 2012, leading to a decade of experience in Emergency Medicine. Building on her solid foundation, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2017, and soon after, a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner from Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University in 2019.
Her career path led her to Signify Health, where she excelled in providing Home Health services across diverse communities. Her passion for diabetes management was ignited when she successfully led a pilot diabetes program at St. Francis Cypress Rural Health Clinic in 2023. This experience propelled her to become a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES).
Now, Michelle brings her expertise and enthusiasm to the Endocrinology Department where she collaborates with Haytham Kawji, M.D. She is committed to delivering exceptional care and helping patients with chronic care and diabetic management to achieve optimal health and a high quality of life.
